@bbk :
It looks like an antique typewriter. At first I tried to tell myself it was just part of the decor, but it's right in front of his chair dead center. I'm baffled!
Can we say "old school"?

I taught at Humble HS for a few years and my kids went there, it was easy for kids to stay away from the admins that pushed the rules. Teachers just wanted the kids in class so they never said anything.

I had hair half way down my back from 8th grade on, I really loved it. Senior year I had to move to a different school that had different rules about hair (nothing below the collar). It broke my heart, but I cut it all off- that was the rule. Back then it seemed parents we're more likely to direct their kids to follow the rules, now parents side with their kids over admins which IMO sets a bad example for the future. This school shares responsibility for not enforcing the rules from the get-go, and picked a poor time to finally do so. But the rules were in place and he was breaking them the whole time. He can't act like it's a surprise. Luckily he apparently can move schools and do so with a fat wad of money in his pocket and celebrity support. Man, how times have changed.

Never had dreadlocks but according to the all mighty google, you do wash/shampoo dreadlocks. www.wikihow.com/Main tain-Dreadlocks Wash your dreadlocks once every 2-4 days. It's important to keep your dreads clean and to remove buildup from your locks. Aim to wash your hair at least 1 time per week, but not every day. It's best to wait at least 2 days between each wash to allow your scalp to produce natural oils.[1] If you have very dry hair that's prone to breakage, talk to your locktician about how often you should be washing your hair according to your hair type.

@tinytim : After you grow it out yes.

The school's rules have made him 20,000.

@TexasGal : The problem is that's a bad precedent to start. He really didn't do anything to earn him self a cash bundle, I can see alot more of this coming in the future and it's not going to be pretty.
