Doesn't surprise me for Baylor. When attending a school with mandatory chapel, there will be exposure to ideals that are not in line with your own, or use that forum to impose ideas not related to religious topic.Part of what your money pays for. That and proving free education to so many other kids.As a young adult, I am sure your child can handle the information appropriately. Hopefully the school is encouraging deductive reasoning.

@redneck roy great point!!!! When we visited there were many minorities there on scholarships etc....How do I know? Because we met many. Although, my dd rec'd a partial scholarship I realized in the end it would be to much $.I admit I regret she didn't get to experience Baylor bc it is beautiful and offered many things she and I look for.To attend Baylor is a blessing no matter your race!

I'm enjoying my white privilege , got to work at 6:50 so I can earn some money to trade with the banker man for my mortgage, the electric man for my lights and the other banker man for my truck note. if there's enough white privilege left I hope to trade it for some beer.

@nikkiole, personally I think the word "privilege" is a poor wording choice for this topic. It turns people off before conversations can even begin. Perhaps the powers that be should consider renaming it, so that it is more palatable, lol...
