We will shut down for a short time to ready for the evening events which are brought to you by Mr. Kilgore and The Overlook.
Sure sounds like we being the ACIA.
The community is only as good as the board, ours is horrible.
Can I produce the audit,supervise the landscapers, fix the pools on and on and on

Do you have magically appearing and disappearing anchored park grills, that residents who frequent the park never saw but The Atascocita Community Improvement Association board claims were stolen earlier this year to justify spending money on security cameras (right astrokatz)-Then you are blessed
Can you swim in your HOA pools?-Then you are blessed
Did your HOA let you see your 2012 financial audit?-Then you are blessed.
Is your landscaping in decent condition?-Then you are blessed.

Does your HOA board not bring your bathrooms up to ADA standards when they remodel but say they are putting in an ADA compliatiant walkway to get to a jogging track-Well that is not only cynical it is disgusting that they would do that.You can't use the bathroom , but we want to be sure you can get to the jogging track if you can get out of your wheel chair and jog in the hot sun with no shade .

If you had all of these issues and your HOA was busy assisting a private business in spite of all this then you are not blessed , at least regarding your HOA board.

Now if there were not all these issues and all was well and your board helped a celebration then you would be blessed with a good board.

Are you really that shallow that you think it's not a problem to let people who have disabilities not have the use of a bathroom , but as a consolation prize those people can have an ADA compliant walk to a jogging track in the hot Texas sun?

I think the landscaping has improved. On Pinehurst Trail, the grass was done, the debris cleaned up, and the pine needles were finally removed. They were doing extensive work on WLH, but the rain forced them to stop. I hope the improvement continues! I haven't kept up with much else, but I am going to be positive and hope for the best.

Went to Lupe's to top off the evening.

Lets be positive
No ADA bathrooms but "ADA compliant walks" leading to the "free"(our mud money) jogging path,oh and dog poop stations.
Closed pools but $2500 for 200 hot dogs, that's positive.
A crumbling shores tennis court but remember the free ADA compliant walk is on the way.
Mystery missing grills but don't worry we can waste a boat load of money on security cameras because of this,that is so positive.
No 2012 financial audit - I guess we positively don't need to know how our money is spent.
Steel prison toilets that's positively positive.
2 minute association meetings with no questions,comments or input allowed, that is incredibly positive.
I know I won't be swimming at our pools this weekend,I'm positive of that.
The cost of our landscaping contract is positively going or has gone up.
Now why would anyone complain?
