Maybe all the illegal Hispanics support them. I bet most don't because they came here the right way! I say drop off all the illegals at the White House and let Obama try to take care of them all.

it required the following
required employers to attest to their employees' immigration status;
made it illegal to knowingly hire or recruit illegal immigrants;
legalized certain seasonal agricultural illegal immigrants, and;
legalized illegal immigrants who entered the United States before January 1, 1982 and had resided there continuously with the penalty of a fine, back taxes due, and admission of guilt; candidates were required to prove that they were not guilty of crimes, that they were in the country before January 1, 1982, and that they possessed minimal knowledge about U.S. history, government, and the English language.

3 million took advantage of this

Well since you finally answered the question I will give you my thought. And that is if in fact your figure is right that 3 million people took advantage the right way, I can assure from those that were responsible for the processing that untold millions gamed the system whom did it the wrong way.

Secondly, as I said before because of the amnesty that was granted, millions more have come illegally hoping they too will be eventually pardoned. It's like when Reagan took joy in feeding a couple of squirrels at the White House. Next thing he knew somehow the word got around and he found himself surrounded by squirrels that wanted to be fed too. Same principal applies here.

i would demand Mexico and these other countries take care of their own or cut ALL $$$$$ to them.....this is not sustainable at all.....every coffer we have is being drained by Obama doing this, and its all in the name of potential votes long term.......
I really dont understand how you can be the US southern border and have a country so corrupt as Mexico....

As I watched some of this last night it was so sad to see these unmarked graves with people dying to get to a safer or better place to live.

In the end, we are all Gods people.

Now, I'm the first one to admit I'm sick and tired of working my *** off to wait in line behind someone buying better meat than me and paying with that special "I get for free card"!!!!!!!

People wake up WE are loosing our country and the freedoms and opportunities it has to offer.

As legalized Americans we receive less benefits overall bc most and I say most of us don't know how to work the system like "they" do!

For example, as owning our own company we pay private insurance it was unbelievable what that cost last year.

Obama care???? Really ???? Oooo Laward help us!

No I don't think that is the 1st step. I think instead we need to pull our boys out of the middle east we will never win anything there . As soon as we leave those area's the people go back to their normal fighting & killing each other A culture I don't think any of us will really understand . Bring our boys home & how about we TRY FIXING Mexico . Clean out the drug Cartel & ALL government employees from the top down & this would give the people of Mexico a chance for a life .I think we all know these people are hard working good people as a whole . These folks just would not risk their lives & leave their family & the only country they know if they had a way to make a living there .I think most all come to us as uneducated & understand they will not make HUGE BUCKS . .A construction guy that worked in my house is working his butt off to send his kids to college . He under stood how his children can have sooo much more & because he is here he can feed ,cloth & put a roof over their heads . If Mexico were fixed there would be no reason to risk their life to come here . Will we do it ( NO WE WILL NOT ) We could have stopped all this long ago, I believe BILLIONS go into American's pockets from the drug cartel so I guess we learn to live with it ! Only other thing would be to have a work program like Canada .

actually fairlane i would be fine if Mexico asked for military help to rid the drug cartels from Mexico and Columbia. These cartels are growing more dangerous by the day and I see them as a " clear and present danger " to American security.

I was surprised at the irony of bringing troops from Afganistan and putting them in another war for a another corrupt country. But If they were to ask for help...well I could be for equipment and technological help. And line the troops elbow to elbow along the boarder (hyperbole for those that will pick this apart) to secure OUR country. Hand them applications for work permits, etc...for those trying to cross, if they are legitimate....shoot them if they are drug dealers/runners.
