Would it not be easier to load all of these Illegal Immigrants in Military planes in send them back to their home countries. . Our immigration system is broke and it starts at the top. If your form Mexico they send you back if not we put you in a warehouse and release you to report back to court in 90 days. Even the liberals believe only 10% will return for their court date. Instead we are going to spend Billions to warehouse them and feed them and have them compete with native born for jobs and keep our wages low..

Every since Reagan signed the amnesty bill, millions of others have crossed illegally hoping that the same will be done for them someday. I know people that were with INS (now a part of ICE) during that time period and they say it was a disaster. They were left with trying to sort out who came here when and of course the task proved almost impossible.Before the 9/11 attacks, if memory serves me correctly, President Bush was pushing for immigration reform. After 9/11 the whole thing was dropped as Americans were no longer remotely interested. Particularly when it was determined that the hijackers were non-citizens and we had a looming war.Now here we are again going around the same mountain. It would seem that very few politicians, including presidents, have the stomach for really enforcing immigration laws. In many instances, members of Congress which passed these laws in the first place frequently use their influence to help certain illegal aliens stay in the country. So essentially we have a system where the right hand is in disagreement with the left. Until we solve that problem we will not be able to effectively enforce the laws that are on the books.

It's no telling how many criminals and other less desirable types took advantage of that situation as INS had no ability to weigh the backgrounds of that many people. Because of the presidents actions the relative trickle of illegal aliens during his administration quickly turned into a flood. As a result subsequent presidents have been left to mop up the mess.
