Just saw one on Firesign. Three days in a row? Maybe they're tailing me, uh oh.

I see them quite frequently driving through the neighborhood. I was coming from Huffman Sunday morning across the bridge and admit I was doing over the limit on the bridge and a blue Monte Carlo was following me. I saw a blur of a white car parked at the end of the bridge by the pylons a good ways away and slowed down. The MC got mad cause I slowed and rode up my rear then passed with a cpl hand gestured towards me (I just smiled) and as he giving me that look "whoop whoop" from Johnny law (I also admit to get a kick out of that). He must of been doing atleast 80(that ticket aint gonna be pretty) as he was passing me not even noticing Johnny.
I don't know if I slowed down in time but the MC did me a big favor by passing me and going way faster. Thx MC!

I never understood the concept of contracts for police protection, it isn't to dissimilar from an extortion of sorts. Tax money pays for police, and then on top of it neighborhoods pay for protection - straight out of Sicilian racketeering 101

Constable is in Atasca Woods..... Cruising or parked at the pool watching for speeders on Aerobics or people running through the 4 way stop signs. Constable is parked right now in the middle of street at Timbers Elementary. I definitely see them in this area.

We have a contractor using ads on Facebook, to get jobs and he has ripped off everyone he has worked for, he has to be shut down,so other people do not lose their money, his Company is Most Realiable from New Caney, he is a thief and has to be stop doing business, anyone that had problems, contact me

@ginx Yes, we have police protection thru Harris County thru our County taxes... that is usually the Sheriff. Before Ron Hickman was promoted to the HC Sheriff we had two SO units between I45 and Huffman. Since Hickman was appointed there is a much larger presence of SO units in Atascocita... Thanks Sheriff Hickman! As far as security contracts... there are three out here... Walden / ACIA, Eagle Springs (paid for by their MUD's) and the ATASCOCITA Contract... Atasca Woods, South, Oaks, KW Glen and Trails. The contract is reasonable because as a homeowner I want better security than what the county can afford to give me. I think I pay about $75.00 per year for that extra protection in the contract and I would gladly pay more $$$ for more Constables! I see them in my neighborhood all the time!!! They are not perfect, but whenever I have called, I usually see one within a few minutes! Take that contract away and that response time goes to 10, 15, 20 minutes or more! I know, I have seen it in non-contract communities!
