We are in the Walden on Lake Houston Contract. That is why he said we are number one. The Atascocita contract is that other contract that has the Oaks, Trails, and so forth.Looking at this list I reckon we aren't number one but for the Atascocita area of contracts it looks like we are.

I-Team: Precinct 4 Constable Office skimps on neighborhood patrols. This was in the news today. We are being charged for constables and they are only working 1/2 there contract time.

Who is checking the time cards besides the I team?

the HOA pays for the security contract.

You can't believe everything you see on the news. Did the I-team tell you about that Deputy that worked 15 hours the previous day on a violent criminal episode and went home sick the next days after working 2 hours? No cause that's the type of things you don't see in time sheets. They tell you what will get clicks and tune ins. If more of us stood up for the police instead of criticizing them from the couch. We would not live in the type of society where the police are afraid to do their job because of the constant backlash from the media. I go to my monthly meetings in walden and guess what the constables are there. I get a chance to talk with them and get to know them. If I have questions they are there to give me the answer. I'm not upset they take 30 minutes out of their day to have a meet and greet with the public they serve, I think it's great. That's just my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

How many rooftops are there in the Atascocita contract?

One of my best friends is a Harris County Sheriff, I totally support law enforcement, however, as long as they are doing there job. I have complained to ACIA about a constable that parks at boat ramp facing the lake, even if he is doing paperwork, at least face the car towards the street. I watched him for over an hour one day, parked there, he finally left, proceeded out of subdivision. He turned onto 1960 and then parked on the Lake Houston bridge. I called ACIA asked if he was contracted for our subdivision, the response was he wasn't sure, I told him I had the car number can you check? He told me that he would, I never heard back. There is 2 other constable's that I have talked to that seem to actually take the time to learn who they are protecting. My opinion is there should be multiple times a year where you can meet and thank the ones protecting us, this gives them a chance to meet and people and then can realize if someone is out of place in our neighborhood.

It seems that the constables forget why they are here in the first place. They become merely officers that get sent out here and forget they are only here because some MUD or HOA is paying most of their wage.
I have turned onto Atascocita Shores Drive many times to see a constable have someone pulled over at the Big A giving them a ticket. And yes, they pulled them off of 1960. Seems someone at the main office is telling them to make some "speeding" ticket money. Yet it seems impossible to get them to set up on a street that has constant speeders that is within our subdivisions.
