@ladybeachbum : it's all good; we had other options and we chose the wing place down the strip; actually turned out to be quite yummy; great waiter and he knew we were in a hurry so he asked if we wanted our tickets before we were finished and we said yes! He was a cool kid - Named Nick - horrid hair cut but he was quite awesome.

@TheCatsMeow : Big City Wings has the best fried pickle spears and I also love their burger with a jalapeño bun.

We went today for lunch. They were busy. I think the staff just needs time to work out a few things.Food was good. I had a salad with grilled chicken. Grilled, not like some places where it looks like it came out of microwave. One person ordered a pizza off the lunch menu. It was bigger than expected.Very pleasant dining experience.

Checked the menu as I don't think I've been to the other location and only went to Hasta once.The risotto balls sound interesting as does the southwest pasta.

wasnt impressed - but they deserve at least a second chance - food was okay - just not great.loved the christophers garlic bread sticks.

Tried it tonight. Arrived around 7:45 and had drinks and bread by 8:07. Staff very much trying to please. Several people checking on our table. I had the special which had chicken and shrimp with red onion and an unusual sauce. I liked it. They kind of seemed surprised. Salad I think was extra but two meals and two glasses of wine was $32 before tip. Not bad at all. I was not a fan of the bread and my DH can tell you I love the bread before the meal, with it , etc. I only ate the edges. They did say as they get better they will try having knots.
The thing we both came out with is we think as a regular guest they would do everything possible to make it right for you. We really like Italianos but can share some love here.

@The Sicilian : I agree with you the food is not for us either .But I had a little get together for our granddaughter at the Hyatt Regency last summer at the Spindletop Restaurant . Not at all like it use to be . We never minded paying a big bill because everything was sooo good . Well things have changed there .

The old hasta last pasta had the best CHICKEN MARSALA ever!!!

@lynnsgirl : Go try it! The only thing that confuses me is why after having the Huffman location and the Overlook, they don't have it together? I'm guessing new cooks and staff. Both owners were there if I remember them right. Much less food than Italianos but I still had leftovers. I didn't try anything with red sauce because of previous reviews.
