bbk : I don't think Fauci has a lot of real experience being a doctor but book smart. I, also, don't think we should be told we have to do any of this but do it if we believe it will help.

@ladybeachbum : Epidemiologist & you could pick anyone of them I believe know more about how to protect us then we ourselves know so I'm very willing to do what helps me stay safe & protects others . It's such a simple little thing to do .

The government, big pharma and MSM do not care about you, they care about themselves and lining their pocketbooks.

@southernmomma : Of course, they are opportunists and money is power. And yes, you are right, the doctors and nurses don't take the time to explain but who would with that large of a load of information. It's overwhelming. But we layman people can only do the best we can.

@southernmomma : I can tell you when my nephew was in med school and my son arrived, he and his doctor friend said "do not follow the shot routine". I never gave him the shots right away and usually at least 6 months behind. My son has always very healthy. Neither of us take flu shots or any other prevention.

@bbk : And it is as it should be for you. I'm wearing the mask and I have washed the skin off my hands I think. I always get in the car and first thing use sanitizer. However, I do think now it is time to open up business before we have none. I think we will be a cleaner country for this if not bankrupt. The thing I am lacking is that key thing that you use to open doors. I keep forgetting to buy it. I usually use some part of clothing or one finger.
I have two nurses and a doctor in the family and they are all good so far. One nurse was very much worried and that is now gone so maybe we are on the down and out side now.

@southernmomma : Vaccines overwhelmingly more safe than the risks of the disease they prevent. Especially the likes of polio, TB, measles, rubella, etc. They prevent tens of thousands of deaths per year.
What's sad is we once had measles completely eradicated here in the US. Now we are having larger outbreaks every year here because of people skipping out on it. We're going backwards.

IMO, I don't think masks should be regulated by law. I don't think many things that are, should be. In fact, I believe that unnecessary laws like this are a contributing factor to the increased number of people making careless decisions in response to this virus. The more laws we make over things like this, things that should be left up to common sense, the more the general public is cushioned from decision and consequence, and in turn can be more careless of consequence. Take away a person's right to make their own choices enough, you take away their ability to do so as well.

That being said, I believe regulation of masks should be handled by property owners. If you don't agree with the policies of a certain business, feel free to find another one that aligns with your beliefs. Freedom of choice, one of the things that makes America great.

@ParksideRes : Amen. My Grandpa had TB, and lost 9 siblings out of 13 to it. and said that he lived an additional 50 years thanks to the vaccine and treatments that he got. If he hadn't taken them I wouldn't be here. All the people that are undoing all that's been done in the last 100 years are facing a horrible life filled with these plagues and noone willing enough to shut them down if they don't change their ways.

@Andi7 : But they should! That's their job and they take an oath to do no harm. By not explaining everything they are risking doing harm to their patients.

And with that, I'm done. Have a wonderful evening and God bless.

@bbk : I'd be stir crazy if I had only been out of the house 3 times! I haven't been going into the office as much but I can go and still be 6 ft away and my office and restroom is locked off from the rest of the office. I feel better going in but I get more done at home. If I get out, I'm out to at least dark and hit everything I need for a few days. I don't feel like I am risking much. I do work in the yard at least two days a week just to be out. You still do that, do you not? I guess I believe we all have responsibility for ourselves and should not have the government telling us what we can do.

@ladybeachbum : I never said I had only been out of the house 3 times . I said I have been in 3 stores . We are out every day to get ice cream at a drive through window . We take 4 & 5 hr drives all over the place . Both daughters have second homes on 2 different lakes . We can go any time we want they both gave us keys . One daughter is renting hers out so we just need to look at her calendar & block out time if we want to go there . We do food pick ups & they put it in the trunk. We do restaurant pick up . I've been working on our yard & garage . Both of us stay busy . I have never had a time when I have nothing to do . I use to sew a lot . I use to make & paint porcelain dolls & music boxes . I have refinished bunches of furniture . These aren't jobs their hobbies . I like having a garden because nothing is better than a home grown TOMATO . We go bike riding sometimes . I've done latch hook . I'm doing something all the time .

@bbk : Sorry, I misread from this in your post. But I've only been in a public place 3 times .
That is what I was referring.
