Looks like Eastend Park??? Never heard of Lake Houston Park.

i havent been since they moved the entrance on 1485, it was a cool place to get in a quick camping trip

They used to have special hunts there. I am not sure when it endedm

do they still have the cabins available

OOh, that bridge would be a nice place to take Fall pictures of the kiddos!

Probably should add the beware of alligators sign as well.

From what I understand, it used to be a state park, and then was transferred to Houston parks dept several years back. They have done some renovations, and I believe more are to come. www.houstontx.gov/pa rks/parksites/lakeho ustonpark.html

The link I posted above is to the park's website, it shows some pictures and pricing on cabins and other options.

probably a lot of renovations to come in the future as this area develops more. Lots of building going on.
