This feels like one of those teasers on FB and then when you click it on (giving them them the count they want)and, it's just a regular old story.NOT saying I would rather it be a robbery attempt! Just saying it wasn't and as several have pointed out - she's been doing this for awhile around here. Need money for my sick child, diapers, gas, etc...etc...Glad everyone is OK.

Met the scrubs woman at HEB a few months ago. Trying to get to Baytown. I see now it's Beaumont, I guess soon she will be aiming for Baton Rouge. Watch your six, she's out there...

As many have said, not attempted robbery and she wouldn't be charged with that based on this account.Scrubs are pretty cheap to come by; not seeing how they are a sign of someone well off enough they ought not be panhandling. Why do you identify her companion as a black man repeatedly? Is that significant? If you're a cop why are you going to find her and take pictures of her.... for what purpose? And, generally speaking, it's a panhandler. We see them around here all the time. Tell them loud and direct "I'm not giving you money. Please move on." And they will.

I am thinking I would say "I have over $100,000 in debt and bout to be homeless my self. Can you teach me your scam?"
I wonder what they would say?

How about next time grab your phone a start recording them. They could do one of two things. a, leave **** off and embarrassed or b, try doing something. If they choose b then you have them on tape doing it.

@GregButtle no one cares about your reactions. Just wanted people to be aware that this crazy *** white lady assaulted my wife's vehicle and seems to be a bold individual who has some black dude right around the corner to help her. Eventually someone is gunna get fugged up and we'll be seeing the assault post on here.

Ok, so ps needed to give a description of both people. If not then we not know this woman and her companion look like. I don't think it was repeatedly said black man as many times as he said crazy white woman. And to top it off we will now know if a crazy white girl comes asking for money that happens to be with a black man, she could potentially be threatening. So really take it as a public service. I'm sure you would feel differently if it was your wife, mother, sister or daughter. There's a lot of oblivious women out there that are just minding their own and can get caught off guard.

The thing is to not be caught off guard. You can get all into the details of one particular case, but even if this one lady moves on, three more will take her place. In our world where people's lives and hearts are broken, where addiction and mental illness are clouding people's judgement - it's going to happen. What we can each do and where we have a lot more control is our behavior:Get your keys out before you leave the store,
Close your purse,
Give your kids age - appropriate instructions (For mine, I remind them, stay close to me in the lot and watch for cars, help me unload, then get in the car)
Park in the same spot every time so you aren't wandering around unfocused because you're looking for your carIf someone approaches you don't ignore them! DO make eye contact, do let them know you see them, use body language such as double fists in front of your body and squaring your feet. If they keep coming say "No! Back off now!" in a loud voice.

NO cell phone use by anyone in the family while walking in parking lots - keep your head up, alert.And yes - each and every day take time to pray protection for yourself and your family. If you see people that feel "off" or "bad" - where you can feel it in your gut that there is a problem, send them a quick compassionate thought - I often say "I see you, I see you, I wish you well, may your circumstances right now achieve the highest good, now go!"

@papa_smurf :Don't be rude. It's a message board, you don't get to post something and then decide how other people react. I found his thoughts in line with my own. We all appreciate your wanting to warn others and understand your good intentions but again, you don't get to have any say in how others react to it.
