Replay the Texans vs Chiefs playoff game... The mouse will commit suicide before the end of the first quarter

If you see one, you have more! Have someone come check your attic. If you put food out for the neighborhood cats, your house should be protected.

You guys are so goofy! Thanks for making me laugh.

I want to kill the mouse...dead....death....there's no mercy for vermin from me.

I have the traps along the baseboards; two in the room we trapped him in, one in the kitchen and one in the livingroom where we initially saw him.

DD saw him first and was screaming like a big sissy. Lol. I am still not sure where he got in from. We had siding put on our house and the rain prevented the gaps from being caulked in a timely fashion. So, we put some of the green mouse poison blocks in the attic and the garage rafters, just in case some got in through the gaps. That's been a couple of months ago. Our neighbors just had siding and the roof replaced last Friday, so I am wondering if all of that racket scared out some mice. I also had another neighbor jack hammering his in-the-ground pool to pieces on Sunday. I hope this mouse is a straggler and we don't have more. I will have to flood my house with Clorox.....

Here's hoping the little booger is still in that room, gets comfy and goes for the bacon and peanut butter buffet tonight.

While I was gone today, my dog found the traps in the kitchen and livingroom and thought they were awesome peanut butter-filled dog treat puzzles. Crazy-happy-funtime for him!

I had one awhile back - I bought the spring load ones like you're referring to and it would never go in it. I went back and bought the old school snap trap and put a little PB on in and within hours.. SNAP!

My little doxie once trapped our hamster behind the refrigerator. He got out because the big girl knocked his cage over. After that the hamster lived in DD's room.
You can borrow the doxie. But you have to feed her.

Lol reminds me of a friend whose hamster got out and was "missing" for a day or two- she went out and bought an identical looking hamster replacement. #1 showed back up along with #2 and her young daughter was petrified thinking they were just multiplying in the cage!

Mice love dog food or the mice near me do. Unknowingly, we left a bag of dogfood in a box I brought home from the beach and let it sit for a while. I saw one run past me at my desk and bought some sticky paper, The little devil did the same thing but bam...he is stuck but then I have to kill the sucker so I say use what will snap their little heads off quickly. We did have more than one and I bought an electonic killer thingy and it worked nice. Zap em and throw them in the garbage. Peppermint oil spray sends them away. I haven't had one in a long time. (I should not have typed that, karma's coming.)

My cat and Yorkie team up. Apparently the cat goes across the street to the field to catch mice and bring them inside. Then the Yorkie snatches it away from him while he's playing with the mouse. She takes it outside to play for a while and then eats it.

We've had several mice in the house. It took us a while to figure out what the cat was up to. I saw the cat across the street in the field one the morning. A little while later I saw him playing around in the game room with a mouse. When the dog saw it she nabbed it and thankfully she was obedient when I told her to take it outside.

I hear the rates at the Holiday in are cheap. Need me to make you a reservation? When my boys thought it would be cool to raise crawfish and the DAD (yes mom and dad had 37 babies) kept getting out and was missing for a couple of days.... Talk about living on top of furniture...

Small traps, the spring loaded type, put a dab of peanut butter on it. The mouse can't steal it. It will nibble at it till SNAP. Br sure to protect house pets.
