>> I was telling a story the other day about when I was younger and on the way to my job downtown involving me on the hood of some guys car I didn't know from Adam trying to kick in his windshield and rip off his wiper blades. The horrified look on the face of the person I was relaying that story was pretty embarrassing.

For sure I've calmed down in my older years. (Now I know how hard it is to kick a windshield in even with high heels.)

Just a thought, a temporary 36 students is not going to cause problems for the other students, but missing all that class instruction will cause problems for your daughter.
Are they not concerned with your daughters education-Really this should be easy to fix.
So the rules say prerequisite, and they are pretty firm about the 35 students, why not the prerequisite?

I will go,but will have to charge for throwing in my 2 cents worth.
Total bill- $.02 ,but because this is the interest of LG's daughter and her education should really be the primary concern, I will waive my standard 2 cents fee.
The best interest of the student should be the guiding principal and they should know and practice this as educators.

@lynnsgirl Is your daughter requesting to drop AP Calculus and move to Algebra III? If the principal is not willing to move her until the stated date, could you at least request the class syllabus AND textbook for Algebra III so that your daughter can see what has been going on in the class. A lot of the first couple of weeks would probably be some review of concepts that would be familiar to her.

That is a very reasonable idea.Since she is withdrawing from precalc perhaps if they do provide a syllabus and text book she can find a student who is willing to help.I tutored students in my classes all the time and again I did not charge my standard $.02 fee because even beyond grades the acquired knowledge of the subject matter is very important.

OMGOODNESS!!!! HI lynnsgirl...when I heard the roll of coins I knew who you were. LOL It's me D. I looked at the post because I am about to be in the same boat. My DD didn't realize she was picking classes with 1/2 semesters for electives and ended up in a Web Design class. Now this would be all well and good great for my techie DS but DD knows nothing about computers unless it is FB. Her work load this year is pretty heavy and a elective as hard a coding that you are not interested in is not going to work for her.
