Tell us a bit about your business: What does your business offer, and how long have you been around?
Hey, I'm Sammy, me and my brothers run Brooklyn Pizzeria. The shop we set up in Atascocita is one of our family's
Italian Restaurants. Pizza is our #1 thing, but we're known for our pastas, subs, & jumbo wings too. Our dad opened the original Houston store in 2006, and we grew to Atascocita in 2015, so we're celebrating 10 years here!
How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?
Our parents came to New York City as Italian immigrants. Dad worked his way up in pizzerias, and ended up running his own shop later on. As our family grew, they moved to Houston to raise us. In 2006, he re-opened what is now Brooklyn Pizzeria in Humble, using the same ingredients, recipes, and original brick ovens from up north. My brothers and I grew up in it, so this business was never just a job, it was the family.

Tell us a few things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the competition?
First of all, even though many have offered, we are proud to be a completely local, family owned and operated business. We're still known for real New York pizza, since we still use our old brick ovens and old-school recipes like the Chicken Alfredo pasta, or Spaghetti & Meatballs. Delivery is a big part of what we do and it's our own team, so we maintain the highest standards compared to the rest.
What is your favorite part of running this business?
Seeing the same familiar faces come in year after year, kids who used to come in with their parents now walking in on
their own, and realizing we’ve all kind of grown up together.
Who is your ideal customer/client? Who do you serve best?
Families who want one place that can make everyone happy, whether it’s pizza night, a pasta craving, wings for the big game, or a big group that needs delivery handled without hassle.
Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?
I’m Sammy, one of the sons. I grew up in our restaurants, first in Humble after Dad opened in 2006, then here in Atascocita since we opened in 2015. I’ve done a bit of everything over the years, and these days my brothers and I
run the stores day to day. If you’re in the shop and see me, say hey!
Are there any special promotions, annual sales, or special events that you'd like to mention?
We’re celebrating 10 years in Atascocita, and we’ll have a couple Atascocita.com exclusives, including a first-order delivery deal and a $35+ bonus item. We also offer specials under $10 that are a great option for families and busy professionals looking for a quick and inexpensive lunch option.

Is there any other information you'd like your potential customers/clients to know about your business?
If you’re looking for a real local spot, that’s us. Real New York-style pizza plus the Italian comfort food we grew up
making. We also do in-house delivery, so your order stays with our team from the kitchen to your door.
PRO TIP: join our free rewards program when you order. It takes a few seconds, you earn points automatically, and you can redeem them for discounts and freebies.
How do you see your business growing and improving over the next couple of years?
Staying the same where it matters and getting better where it helps you. More consistency, faster pickup and delivery, smoother online ordering, and more ways to show up for the community, supporting local schools, churches, and our police and fire departments. We’re also opening a Kingwood location in 2026, nearby Humble and Atascocita, so it’ll be even easier to get BKP when you need it.
