It seems Republicans are, finally, finally I say, growing a spine and appear to be fighting this. www.politico.com/liv e-updates/2026/05/21 /congress/todd-blanc he-gop-weaponiz
CarolS and eighteen reacted I really can't think of any reason why he is doing this - other than the obvious undermining our legal system. #msg2182621
That right there is some scary snit. Any president that would seek to that is not worthy of the office they hold.
Dude wakes up every day conspiring of ways to suck money outta of the hands of hard working people in this country, and depositing it right into his pockets and his corrupt buddies.

Slush Fund from WHAT? Oh, I see….." Trump filed a notice with the court Monday saying he had voluntarily dismissed his $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS, which alleges the IRS failed to properly protect his tax returns after a contractor passed details of the president's taxes on to news outlets." So Trump did a deal (go figure) to drop this lawsuit for, wait for it, wait, wait…..a slush fund to be paid out to who he says he wants it paid out to. He should just keep the lawsuit going I guess.

He'd lose and knows it. But told his subordinates to create this and he'll drop it. It's all rehearsed. Huff and puff and when discovery comes due, create a deal to enrich his followers. #msg2182669

ParksideRes : Why is the IRS dropping the suit then? Let Trump keep his lawsuit, he will loose as you say. #msg2182710
I do not understand the claim of targeted prosecution requiring compensation. #msg2182686
Atascocita888 : Um, try again #msg2182711
My understanding is the IRS must be afraid they will loose the lawsuit #msg2182712
