chasinghosts : Yes, but the renters don't have to pay HOA dues, property taxes, nor shell out thousands on repairs or replacements the water heater, the roof, a/c unit, etc, etc..
@mayorofnothing : How do you know that? It could all be tied into their payment or their lease, like an extra fee like how they do for pets. Normal wear and tear like a roof or water heater going bad would be the landlord's responsibility anyway. Not something a neighbor should ever worry about. It's not something we're ever going to get away from so why waste our breath?
