The Houston Police Department's Special Victims Division is investigating the attack of a local woman while she was walking the trails at East End Park in Kingwood.
According to information gathered from Houston Police, an adult female has reported a sexual assault to authorities after being attacked by a man in East End Park (6400 Kingwood Dr) on Friday, February 15.
She stated that shortly after 4:00 PM, as she was walking towards the entrance/exit of the trails at the park, someone jumped out and grabbed her from behind. She said he immediately tried to drag her into the woods, then choked, punched, slapped and even bit her multiple times on the thighs.
She was fighting him the entire time, and at one point managed to kick him in the groin in order to escape. She quickly ran to a friend's home nearby to call 9-1-1.
The victim described the suspect as a male, 20's - 30's, "burly", 5'10" - 6'0", 220 - 250, wearing jeans, a dark-colored hoodie and a skeleton bandana over his face. She also added that he said absolutely nothing during the attack.
The victim was treated for several scratches/abrasions to her body, a cut to her lip and a swollen eye.
