The Houston Police Department's Special Victims Division is investigating the attack of a local woman while she was walking the trails at East End Park in Kingwood.
According to information gathered from Houston Police, an adult female has reported a sexual assault to authorities after being attacked by a man in East End Park (6400 Kingwood Dr) on Friday, February 15.
She stated that shortly after 4:00 PM, as she was walking towards the entrance/exit of the trails at the park, someone jumped out and grabbed her from behind. She said he immediately tried to drag her into the woods, then choked, punched, slapped and even bit her multiple times on the thighs.
She was fighting him the entire time, and at one point managed to kick him in the groin in order to escape. She quickly ran to a friend's home nearby to call 9-1-1.
The victim described the suspect as a male, 20's - 30's, "burly", 5'10" - 6'0", 220 - 250, wearing jeans, a dark-colored hoodie and a skeleton bandana over his face. She also added that he said absolutely nothing during the attack.

I just ran across this thread posted by a friend of hers on kingwood.com. It is much worse than the info law enforcement gave. httpsw.kingwood.com/msg/full-info-attack-east-end-park.php?p=2365702&threads_page=1&category=General.
"Full info for attack at East End park - family friend At 4pm Friday 15th. Victim was grabbed from behind and pulled into woods. Suspect beat her repeatedly in the face, and raped her. Her face is almost unrecognizable. She has bites, scratches and bruises over her body, in addition to vaginal trama. She was able to kick the suspect and run to her car. She then went to her friends house where the report was made. The suspect is a very large male wearing a hoodie and a skull mask "scarf" over his face . Very tan, but he did not speak. 5'11-6'0. She repeatedly described how strong and burly he was. She was admitted to memorial Hermann hospital where she was treated and a full rape kit administered . Two schools reported on a light colored vehical following female students. One report even mentioned a skull mask. The park was full of people. Middle school releasing students. Broad daylight. She should have had NO reason to fear for her safety. This is a wake up call. Please do not allow your children to walk home untill the suspect is apprehended. And use extreme caution when on trails and in parks. Thank you And yes, there is a 5 page police report and medical files to prove everything here. The media is down playing the situation. The family will remain private but are outraged at the lack of information. Please feel free to share this truth."
Hope they catch this POS. My first red flag was why sexual assault if the report described it like just an assault? Then read Sammee's post and that makes more sense. Why would the police down play it so much when our community needs to be aware of how dangerous this man is and to be on high alert? Its their job to inform us when safety is concerned. Prayers for the victim.
I agree Lugar it is their job to inform us !!! And with out the truth that this woman was raped & beat in the face people aren't as willing to take the precautions that perhaps should be taken to protect their children that walk home from school .
