Still sound to me like someone was having a bad day .

@tflea
And he went to jail for it. There is always "that guy" in the group, the one that smarts off to the cop-"you don't have the right to do that" ect ect blah blah blah-and maybe sometimes they don't. But I keep my mouth shut and answer yes sir and no sir and keep from going to jail-or getting my *** kicked. I hung around "that guy"-and he went to jail quite a bit (and got his *** kicked)-I went home and went to bed. Who's the *******?
Just the way I was raised-to obey them and respect them. When we get into the "that cop didn't have the right to do that"-or "that guy didn't have to stop and obey that cop" on ADC, or "he wasn't doing anything wrong" type of attitude that's fine. But for me, I stop and obey and respect-whether I was doing something wrong or not. Keeps me out of a lot of trouble.
I guarantee you that guy-was "that guy". Maybe he'll learn-but probably he won't.

@cador Some people never learn to shut that mouth to a officer even at 33.

Sounds like the same kind of cop that would shoot their Yorkie “in fear of their life” if it would have come to the door also while they were entering at the homeowners non-request.

But the supposed homeowner did indicate there were dogs but I did not hear of any dead dogs.

A problem with these types of situations is, the person answering the door could very well be a burglar, or holding the occupant hostage, and posing as the homeowner. If this was the case (and I realize for this instance it was not), obviously this person would try to keep officers out of the house. The police have a duty to verify the home is secure, they can't just take the word of the first face they see at the door and leave. If there is nothing to hide and no problem, let the officer confirm there is no threat, and he will be on his way. It may be inconvenient, but much less so than a trip to jail. After all, it is not the fault of the officers that an alarm goes off, it's best to let him do his job.

Maybe I’m missing something so help me understand...your panic alarm goes off, the cops show up and do their job to protect you, and you get ****. I don’t get it.

@Tristynrochelle for all the police knew, he was the reason you hit panic alarm. He could have had a partner holding your husband at gun point.
It is the cops job to verify everything is ok, your guest nuging you to not allow entry was enough to put the cops on edge. At least wonder what there was to hide.

@Luckysis Clearly you haven’t read everything on here over the situation, I got **** after the threw my friend on the ground and tased him , I got **** after they saw that myself and husband are fine and after we both repeatedly kept saying he is a guest in our home and asked why he was being arrested, which btw on video he states he was arresting him cause he wouldn’t show them his id however his wallet is in his luggage in the guest room , they didn’t give him the chance to go get it.
And the alarm that went off was silent (otherwise I would have canceled it) so I didn’t even know it went off till they showed up on my front door . Also after my husband came around the corner asking what is going on and why they are doing this , and we both verified we live there they still continued to slam him against the door and threaten to tase him again if he didn’t show them his id, yet it wasn’t on his person . That’s when I got **** , not cause they “were trying to protect me” after all there was nothing to protect me from . If doing their job was to ignore the ppl that supposedly was in danger over then yea I guess they got that right .

@Tristynrochelle You can give up on this crowd. You could have a video of the whole thing and they would say “something must have happened before the video started” or “the video is edited/fake”. Until they’ve experienced or witnessed these types of scenarios personally, they will not believe that any cops are human and not perfect gods but can lose their temper and can act like jerks. Some make an occasional mistake, some make a habit of it.

@Tristynrochelle
I read everything-including your first post on the subject that stated your guest was telling the cop he had to have a reason/warrant to come in your house. I'm sure there's more to the story (that guy that normally comes up with that stuff normally flies off with more BS)....but at the least, according to your post, we have police officers coming to protect you because, whether a mistake or not, you had an alarm go off. Then-they come to your house and have to listen to a guy (he's not even the homeowner) tell them they can't come in-cause they do not have a warrant-cause it's against his rights-and he knows his rights blah blah blah (I know the type). That's what started his trouble-instead like most of us would be "thank ya'll for coming out", "I apologize it was a mistaken alarm, but you can come in and check it out in here to make sure" ect ect-then-we, the smart ones-would go to bed thankful it was a false alarm and go to work in the morning. Your buddy-Mr. "you can't come in here without a warrant" type of guy-went to jail.

At the very least, I wouldn’t want officers coming in because I’d be all “omg, my house is a wreck and I don’t even have a bra on.”

I’d be tased. But it would be on video. So I’d also be paid.
