tflea From experience, once the DA sees the video, the case will be immediately dropped. But they will drag out providing the video (the cop’s video) for months and this guy and his witnesses will traipse up to the courtroom every month, pay $20 parking and lose work hours (not to mention valuable hours of our lives sitting in those awful benches), pay thousands to the attorney, while the court date is reset repeatedly. Then finally, the video will show up and it will all be dismissed. But no one is compensated for the whole mess. It really really really sucks.
@HumbleGirl Yep-sux for him as all he had to do is let them do their job and not run his "I know my rights" loud mouth. You can tell by his posts he's "that guy". Turned something so simple into a night in jail and lots of hassle-and....probably charges because he's prolly not telling the whole story-none of us know except the video.
If it would of been one of us that has respect for the law and what they do-they'd went to bed that night in their own bed and enjoyed the rest of the night. That's a 100% fact!
But-he knows his rights.....
