Very true. If they are rude enough to park on the roadway on a regular basis they are probably rude in general. Better mail the letter.

I am sure your guests will not park in a dangerous manner. What we are all complaining about are those who use the street as their own personal driveway.

Does anyone have a link on how to complain about people parking illegally on the streets? We have several that are too close to intersections.

I hate street parkers but I was one when I lived at my parents home. We had a one lane driveway and my dad worked irregular hours so we had to make the driveway available to him at all times. Guess I'm a hypocrite.

BTW, TLDR the whole thread.

What is really bad is the trucks that park on both side and they are right across from each other. You can barely get through. I drive a truck sometimes and I would never do that. Then again, I don't park in the street but if I had to I wouldn't.

I fully understand it is legal to park on the street. I just view it as being inconsiderate and not

@B12Fan

I have a neighbor that won't park his cars or have his grown children park in front of his house . He parks cars in front of the house next door to him & it is exactly at the end of my driveway . He makes it hard for us to get out the driveway . He has a long driveway so there is plenty room for all 4 cars . I've told them 3 or 4 times & nothing changes . Because it is a public street & anyone can park their car where ever they like we just live with the situation .

Common sense and courteousy is not common anymore. A neighbor of mine is currently parked across from my driveway. They don't even live next-door. And to make matters worse they haven't had an inspection and registration for over two years. They drive this car every day. Yes, I have called the Constable's.

Do you think they park in the street because they may not want to get their Driveways dirty?

Like if a vehicle has a leak or something? I am shooting blanks here trying to understand why people do not park in a perfectly good driveway so their vehicles wont get damaged from careless drivers on the street! I am at times a careless driver, "Sneezes" happen and I am allergic to almost everything Emoticon

So true! I don't know know why Walden is the worst. We lived there and hated driving through it every day esp on weekends. This was a major reason we moved. That, sidewalks, and proximity to major streets.
When we were looking for a different house, we drove through neighborhoods during the day and evenings to see how much traffic it gets. I like that our street in South is not a regular pass through street but at the same time it has an easy access to Atascocita Red, WLHP and Will Clayton

I sometimes get frustrated because I feel the ACIA could do so much better inforcing deed restrictions on our street. Everybody on my circle keeps their trash cans out.in full view collecting water which breeds more mosquitos. That is an easy one to enforce. Do get me started on the lawns that are neglected.
