Sorry, WanFu, we like TaiLi. I still like Jade Palace better than any but it is hit or miss if it is going to be good these days.

I always ordered delivery from WanFu, huge portions....enough for 3-4 meals for me. I think we ate in there once when it first opened, but I regularly ordered delivery.

Now, the best best best sweet and sour chicken was at FuKee, where Buffalo Wild Wings is now. That was another mom and pop place that lasted a few years and then had to close down.

The property owner of this shopping center has contacted Atascocita.com with some more information.

He says that WanFu is closed for remodeling but will be opening again in the same location shortly.

The other couple of companies who have left recently have done so for reasons outside of his control, for example, for health reasons or internal management difficulties.

Air conditioning should be working and the A/C levels (and expense) is up to individual tenants to control.

He says he takes pride in maintaining and improving the condition of the center since he took it over.

Subway and the Cuban place where where Java man is. The old fish tales was loading zone, a wine tasting place and a bistro/gift boutique for a number of years.

I have never tried any of the restaurants mentioned in this thread. May have to give the Chinese restaurants a try!

TaiLi's portions are huge. We usually get 2 dishes for 3 people , and still have leftovers for lunch. I get Shredded Pork in garlic sauce, DD and hubs get General Tso's chicken, and we share 1 order of crab puffs

Their moo-shu is delicious (gotta like cabbage!)!! You can order chicken, beef or pork. The little paper thin pancakes that come with it to wrap it in are stupid good! Emoticon

One of mine is addicted to the BBQ Pork with Snow Peas and another the Jerry Chicken (special menu). The shrimp rolls are also amazing for some crunch!

Love Tai Li!

A couple of times I tried ordering new things but I didn't like them. One of them was the Tofu pork, it sounded delicious but it turned out to be very greasy

In response to all of the comments about the previous Fish Tales location. I'm the leasing agent at the center. This is the 3rd location for the new tenant. They have been in the restaurant business for years and did extensive research on the area and center before they decided on the location. Fish Tales closed due to management issues. As far as Veron's, yes, we were going to raise his rent, but it was not excessive and even with the increase, his rent would still have been below what the market rents are in Atascocita. Summus was a language school, which is a very selective industry and they may have misjudged the need and desire for that particular type of business in the area. The landlord was very generous with the rental rate and build out for this tenant. The tenants in retail centers are responsible for the repair and maintenance of their a/c units, as well as the maintenance and repairs of their individual spaces. The owner of DoJo Fit moved back to California after his divorce. In spite of at lease one of the comments on this site, the center is NOT even close to being vacant, we only two spaces available - the DoJo Fit space and Veron's space and the other tenants who have come up for renewal have happily renewed. I've read several negative comments on this site about the landlord. I've been in the commercial real estate business for over 32 years and am very selective about the landlords I represent. Just to set the record straight, I've represented this landlord for about five years. He lives near the center and is very hands-on, he has interest in bringing businesses into the center and keeping them, but he also expects them to abide by the terms of the lease, which is not an unreasonable request.
