Map shows Eagle Springs 3,600 homes --Atasca Woods 887 homes --- Lake Shore 3 ,000--- Waters Edge 900--- Bridges of Lake Houston ---700 ---Walden --- 2,322 & COMING is Legend Homes that will be another 500 homes which gives a total of 11,909 homes of all the subdivisions I have listed .If each home has 2 cars that's 23,818 cars ! WOW THAT SOUNDS LIKE FUN !!!! NOT !

If you are coming from Summerwood headed north it is the land being cleared on the right it would be between Bridges Of Lake Houston & Waters Edge or across from the high school entrance .

I don't know if this will come to pass or not but I sure found it interesting . I feel like with all the land that is out there , why come into a very nice area & put a Detention Center ???? JERKS !

It could be that was pre-planning. I'm not sure regulations would allow a detention center to be placed so close to a school zone.

To the lake side of the detention center the part that's labeled Curtis estate. Is that already owned privately? A home there? What is that?

whether it comes to pass or not; however, the land is currently being cleared where the map shows legend homes.
when all the residential is finished, 4 school zones, and probably about six-seven red lights, West Lake Houston will sure be "fun" in the morning.
Hope they hurry with the Grand Parkway.
