The article states, "According to the police report and InTouch, a Duggar family appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 2006 was cancelled after a “61-year-old woman” emailed Harpo Studios to warn producers about Josh’s sexual misconduct. Harpo Studios forwarded the information to the Department of Human Services hotline, which trigged an investigation by the Springdale Police Department."

@Sammee OK, I thought Oprah would take that seriously because she was also a victim of sexual assualt. Glad she reported it forward.

@RollingStone Once a person has the will to confess what's been done many are there to follow. The first step is admitting who, what, when and where and then on may start healing. Without admission, it's like a cancer cell thrown under a rug it grows and kills you.

@LivingLife Without debate, what is your opinion on Child molesters and how they are treated? How do you feel they should be punished? What do you think is so disturbing in their life that would make them assault a young child?Are you a victim of child molestation? Has a member of your family been affected by this? Are you sure where you stand if the answer is YES? If the answer is NO then this question is much easier to answer.Either way in respect I will agree to disagree with you.

@LivingLife , I can't remember what part of the bible it is in but it is in there. It is in the bible that there are two unforgivable sins.1. A sin against the holy spirit.2. A sin against a child.So, if you believe the bible to be the word of God then anyone who sins against a child has no hope in this life or the next.

@Jevans I believe The Bible states that the only unforgivable ("eternal") sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. All other sins against sons of man will be forgiven, which one would assume includes sins against children upon repentance.

I guess TLC only cancelled airings temporarily. Now they're allegedly saying there's consideration of continuing, but without Josh.
