@Sammee

I got both my dogs at MCAS. The girl I found but foster failedthrough them. My boy was in a foster home through them. I fell in love with his pic and wrote the foster mom. She was able to tell me everything I needed to know about him.

@lola

If you are referring to Sammie Jo. I had to put her to sleep in March, the cancer had gotten too much for her. Emoticon

I applaud of you that recue and Foster these babies, I could never do a Foster as I would get to attached and would cry when they had to leave. My heart breaks for all these found/missing unwanted dogs. I try not to go to places like petsmart when they are there as I could come home with all of them.

@Sammee I would call your local animal hospitals. At times they have posting for owners looking for a new home for their pet. I know that Atascocita Animal Hospital has a middle aged yellow lab that was neutered and vaccinated a few weeks ago - he was found as a stray. The foster mom is currently looking for him to have a new home. A friend of mine works there and says that he is extremely sweet! Here is there number: 281-852-8520; they should be able to get you in contact with the foster parent.

One of the posters on KDC is moving and wants to rehome two 10 yr old dogs.
Maybe you can help save them?

If you go to rescueshelter.com you will find almost every dog rescue there is with links etc to all dogs (or cats). It's filed by county alphabetically. It's part of rescueme.org which is for people wanting to place dogs that they either found or need to rehome.
