@Mommy : I don't think there's any kind of mandate against it, but be aware that participation will probably be very, very low this year.

Just need to know if I need to go out and buy some chocolate for the kids - I don't want to be stuck with it and eat it - lol.

There isn't a mandate against it, but I think it'll be a waste of time. I'm just buying my kid a bag of candy and calling it a day. We usually get hundreds of kids coming by, so I'm probably going to opt out of handing out candy this year. There's just not a cootie-free way to hand it out that doesn't involve me slingshotting it across the yard at kids.

I'm setting out a table with bags of candy. The kids in our area expect to see the witch; can't disappoint....

I am going to buy some candy just in case. I will be the only one touching it before it goes into the kiddos bags, so am not too concerned about spreading any 'rona.

We will be handing out candy as usual. I am looking forward to being scared on Halloween but it wont be because of covid.

anyways.....I was wondering myself what the kiddos were going to do.
I usually make treat bags and enjoy handing them out.
I hand out about 75 bags a year.
Debating what to do....you think the honor system would work? I can always use my ring to let out a big frightening scream if they don't.
