@DaycareMom : I am so very sorry to hear about Gustavo's friend. My deepest empathy for Gustavo as I am sure that he is feeling a bit lost right now and for you because you are wondering how to help Gustavo and you are upset over his friend as well. You will be there when Gustavo gets home. Even if a word is not spoken, the comfort lies in knowing that you are there. Gustavo is lucky that he has you. My deepest condolences. Prayers.

@LeverageShowFan : Well.. we live an hour apart.. me here and he lives towards Huntsville. I won't get to physically see him til Saturday 😢
But thank you, you are right.. if he were next to me now I know we would be sitting in silence but he would feel comfort in me being next to him.. and I'm not. And that sucks but we both know it's our somewhat long distance relationship reality

Yep...I know of someone who was in their 40's, had some initial symptoms, went to the hospital and was dead in less than 4 days....She did have a couple of "health issues" but not enough to keep her from working every day...Food for thought to all the "nay-sayers"...

@DaycareMom : Oh, me and my assumptions! I guess I noticed how you really care for Gustavo and how he cares for you (figured it out by reading some of your posts), I just threw you guys into the same household! Sorry! I hope I did not stress you further! (Oh, that crazy old lady ... lol ...me)! It is a comfort for him because he knows that you are there for him, if not in person, in spirit. Hopefully, you will see each other soon.

@LeverageShowFan : oh I love him dearly as he does me. I think we work really well because of our situation.. we get tired of each other we get to put 2 rivers between us 🤣🤣 Almost 4 years together and going strong!!

@nikkiole : the distance was really hard for me at first. But once I got used to it I realized how great we have it. He wants to get away, he comes here and vice versa. Also we are close enough that we can be at one or the others house within an hour if need be. Best set up ever.. Space is nice and sometimes needed.. it's awesome you can do that within your own 4 walls!

@nikkiole : Also once my kids graduate I may consider a move in with him, but I have 4 more years to get my head on straight about those thoughts 😅

@DaycareMom : You are one savvy young lady! You and Gustavo have a good thing going! My husband and I have been married for over 40 years now. We sometimes put a couple of rooms between us (lol)! Even though we dearly love each other, every person needs their own space from time to time. We also make it a point to spend some fun time together too. I think that is also important. I am so glad that you and Gustavo have been together for 4 years! That is beautiful!
