@AtascocitaDotCom : Sanjay Gupta took that test that goes deep up the nose, the other day, then said that 3 hours later they announced they had a less invasive one that didn't go all the way to the Pharenx (I think that's what he called it). He was very honest about how uncomfortable it was and how if he'd have only known about the other he would have held up a few hours.

my SIL in GA is a nurse and was doing those tests about 3 weeks ago... the long swab that almost reaches your brain, like 3 times worse than the flu test@TheBoz

@TheBoz : That would be my concern. If left up to regular people to conduct the swans, how accurate are the results?

I got a phone call this afternoon with my test result. It was negative. I expected that. No symptoms. My wife has not recieved her result yet. I pray she is negative. Her condition has not improved or gotten worse. Low grade fever, mild chest pain, occasional dry cough, occasional dizziness, and gets out of breath just walking to next room. This is day four. Please pray for my wife.

@TheBoz : That does not seem very efficient... how can you tell if you self administered to test correctly? How confident do you feel about the process?

@angelita : I did exactly as instructed. That is all I could do. I think the instructor was trained to instruct me to do it correctly. I am confident of the process.

They said the newer tests do not require you to go so far up your nose.

We have not tested but all self quarantined (w/the exception of a few grocery store runs and wore masks) for the past few weeks, just to be safe. No one in our immediate household has because we're not showing symptoms. I prefer to let everyone that is to do it first. We're also watching the daily numbers rise as more get tested, recoveries and deaths in Houston. As we're all aware, the cases will climb but our concern is knowing when they start declining. We will definitely get tested but as for now, we're staying in place @ home or masking up for a quick run. We didn't hoard purchase either. We bought things available for simple meals and the adequate amount of toilet paper we normally do. 😉 I'm praying for everyone who has to get positive results back! ❤️
