Just had a coworkers parent die after catching virus at church choir practice.Still a lot of lack of seriousness.I suppose you may decide to risk exposure just to get it over with...

I've noticed the kids playing together, too. I think they're are still a lot of people who either don't understand, or who just don't care about being able to spread it to others and that they can be responsible for killing others as a result. I've seen many interviews of people 40 and younger who don't want to be inconvenienced because they think they won't be impacted by the illness. I don't understand that mindset.

@redneckroy : My sense of it is some people, and elected officials I might add, have an entrenched antigovernment mentality. So even in this crisis they refuse to adhere to the warnings. So yes they're willing to risk theirs and other lives in order to be defiant. Having said that you expect some individuals not to have good sense. However so-called well educated elected Governors are something else altogether. Their job is to do what's best for all the people in their state regardless of political considerations. As we see that's not the way it's playing out. Some of them are showing just sheer cowardice. Others are afraid to get in the crosshairs of 45 and therefore are willing to risk more deaths in their states to avoid such a terrible fate.As I've said when this is finally over history will not be kind to many.

What in particular are Governors or officials wanting to do that Trump is stopping them from doing because they are afraid of him?

@M1cha3lo0o : he has told states they can handle it but if anyone of them asks for federal help they are raked through the coals by Trump for being incompetent liars.

@ParksideRes : weird, he says they get it, and the Governors has stated they get a lot of aid and are thank for it.
Many statements saying the Federal government has came through for their state.
Especially Cuomo.

I think Cuomo did all that he could to not make Trump mad . And I also think Cuomo knows Trump well enough to do some serious attacks at him that Trump wouldn't want .

Cuomo doesn't give two hoots about Trump's feelings, never has. They're on opposite sides of the political spectrum.

This past weekend we pulled in at the big A on Atascocita Shores drive & saw all kinds of people at the marina . Almost no cars though . Then you get to the stop sign where you can go right or left ,& to the right were some cars . One of the homes had some people on the back deck . I just think we live in a world of me people . Life is all about them & nobody else . It doesn't effect them when nurses & doctors die trying to take care of people . They live in the land of the free & obviously some are choosing to mingle at all cost .

@bbk : Large groups of people? DD and I have gone to the marina several times for an outing because it is inaccessible to the public because it is gated and not crowded at all. We've been the only ones there every time. Could the people on the balcony been from that household, or did it look like a party? People who are still having dinner parties, etc., are nuts.

@Sammee : It looked like they were having a party at one of the houses . As I said cars parked to the right on that first street . A truck pulled up on to the corner lot parked up in the grass . I think I remember seeing a couple of trailers so some likely went fishing . But this group was just walking around together .

At Sammee resturants movie theaters , malls all shut down . But look at the trucks & cars parked each day at the Overlook at the cart barn . No way are they parked 6 feet apart . And I'll just bet other gulf courses are the same .
