Barbecue Inn. Hands down the best in Houston. Recognized by local chefs as their go to place.

I love learning about some new CFS places, as I'm a connoisseur and some of the local places I used to go are no more. That looks good, however, I checked BBQ Inn, another one without mashed taters, just hard to imagine it's any good without the taters.

cbp210 : We went toward the end of last yr, it was so dirty and old looking and smelling, we "almost" walked out after being seated but we were hungry. I hadn't been there in probably atleast 5 yrs, probably longer. They used to have a good CFS and other homecooked items, but it was bad. I heard the guy redid it, was the son or something, but it was terrible. The waitresses were sitting at a table pretty much right next to ours just laughing and having a good time, ours was sitting with them. Was terrible, will NEVER go back. The CFS was ok, not as good as it used to be. I've got the same review from a few folks, it's a shame, used to be good.

@cador : I won't be going back either, I went 3 or 4 months ago. Just bad.
