I've actually heard Tin Roofs is pretty good.

Damn, that's my go to (there a few times a week), must of caught them on a REAL bad day, as their food quality is pretty consistent. The one in Humble?
Give them another chance as they are pretty good about that, I've had thousands SG meals (I don't think i'm exaggerating there) and besides sending a steak or two back, never had an issue.

@cador : No it was actually in San Marcos , and they were not busy at all so I was surprised.

Kelly's! I told my husband don't get the big one, the regular one is huge. Something being too much food is not we'd normally agree on but he agreed. 😂But it's far.

Humble city cafe locally, Monument Inn is the best around. Only complaint is they don't have mashed taters but the bacon gravy makes up for it.
IMHO.

Takes it right out of the competition. CFS without taters is not a CFS, you HAVE to have mashed taters with it. Their Seafood always good though.

I think I've had it there, not sure. It's hard to not to get the Ribs there, I don't really think CFS when I'm going to a Barbeque joint. My buddy keeps telling me that Off the Road in Crosby has an exc one, and I haven't tried it yet.

I didn't even know Tin Roof had CFS.

@Mjs484 : I'm a little late and haven't tried it yet but my niece raves about their food. I was going to try it soon but we've been eating @ home for the past two weeks. I think I'll try the CFS dinner first when I do.

@cador : I'll have to second what your buddy said about OTR BBQ off of fm2100 heading towards Crosby. Their ribeye steak is p.d.g. too!!

Love Hofbrau Steaks. They have a good CFS. 😋

I tried ordering one from Tin Roof the other night. They did not have ANY fried food that could be ordered. Yes. It was on the menu, but no fried foods were available.
