Mom1080s : I have not tried to freeze oranges, but I have heard that you can freeze Meyer lemons. However, I have not done it so I cannot tell you how that would turn out. Maybe you can try to freeze one and see how that works out …. or, squeeze the juice out of the oranges into ice cube trays and freeze that way. Sometimes, when I have Meyer lemons, I squeeze them and put the juice into ice cube trays to freeze. They are good in your iced tea. Also, good when I make homemade Asian Orange Chicken (recipe calls for orange juice, orange zest, and lemon juice). If anyone is interested, the Asian Orange Chicken recipe can be found on allrecipes.com. My family enjoys it. ******** I also buy strawberries, and if we aren't eating them quick enough, I wash them, cut them into halves, and freeze them. I use them in smoothies quite often.
@LeverageShowFan : I washed and froze a bunch of cilantro so I don't always have to run out for it.
