I collect Transformers (the toys not the electrical kind) primarily, Lego occasionally and Sneakers infrequently (oddly the sneakers are the only appreciating item I have) but I am not one of those "mint in box" collectors, I collect them and open them (although I have only worn my most valuable sneakers one or two times).

I seem top unintentionally collect HOA letters.

@GBinHOU : I used to collect sneakers too but after a few of my favorites began to crumble in their boxes from never seeing daylight, I began to either wear or sell them. My wife is happier now lol

@LuGar : I don't and never will have a huge amount since I primarily only buy ones I want to wear anyway, and if I had my way I'd wear the two pairs of "collectible" ones I have now, my wife is the one who is against it.I had forgotten I do have a couple of items which combine the sneakers/Transformers thing. A few years back there were a pair of Calvin "Megatron" Johnson themed sneakers which came with an exclusive Megatron toy and then there were two Transformers which change into Nike Free sneakers, guess those count toward both collections.

@EastTexGal : Had one of those when I was a kid.

@EastTexGal : It was my Dad's interest. I just like to photograph things. I'm not all that interested in the technical stuff. I'm a decent minimalist (I have a good eye) photographer, but like painting, I don't like to work hard at it. I won't work in water colors or oils because they take too longs. I love to paint in acrylics though.
