Kroger parking lot.
Against my better judgement, I went to the Kroger at Will Clayton and Atascocita Rd. tonight just to avoid 1960. I immediately noticed the trash on the parking lot, which is a sign the neighborhood is sketchy.
But that's not the reason for my post. As I was exiting the parking lot, an older Suburban type vehicle was in front of me and then turned left & stopped. As I was slowly driving behind him, he backed up and nearly hit me. At this point I had nowhere to go because of cars parked in front of the businesses so I tapped my horn. He kept backing up and I managed to swerve and miss him and the other cars.
Near miss right? Drive on and forget it right? But noooooo! This crazed driver started yelling at me, cursing **** you, telling me I'd better not mess with him, to "go on if you don't want me to deal with you!". I'm not one to scare easily so I stopped and screamed right back at him that he was a coward. He kept cursing me and daring me to come back so he could hurt me.
How can a grown man, twice the size of Santa Claus feel he needs to hurt a lady for no reason? How could anyone be so arrogant as to curse someone for his own bad driving? He is truly a dangerous person. His passenger tired to get him to calm down and go into the liquor store and I drove away.
Be careful out there because they dwell among us.

@carol888 : It is in Atascocita. It is not Humble city limits. Atascocita is pretty big. See the map.

@ChloeW :

We shop at Kroger... but never that one. It's ghetto.

Either the one on 1960 and WLH or BW8 and WLH, if I'm on my way home from work.

@TheBoz : In actually as a business it is in the City of Houston if you look at real maps with precincts/ areas it shows City of Houston, just like most of the business in Atascocita are part of Houston. Living here for over 30 years that area was always considered Humble (ie Humble MS) is right there.

@ChloeW : Given that many of your posts here are negative and/or condescending, maybe you should consider your attitude and how it affects people's reactions to you. Try being pleasant and patient. Maybe then you will have fewer of these incidents to report.
Not trying to offend but remember...as you once said...the truth is offensive to those who don't want to hear it.

@carol888 : Not Humble, not Houston. Atascocita. I posted a real map. It is plain as day. Atascocita businesses can't be part of Houston is they are in Atascocita.

There is some crazy law that since Lake Houston is owned by Houston, land along the shores and all business within a few miles are the city of Houston. Just like Deerbrook mall and most business along 59/69 are city of Houston not Humble. I have had many police men and big wigs of Humble tell me and show me (several years ago) but whatever. you believe what you want

Last time I went to this Kroger I was sick. I left the work early and decided to stop by it to get meds because it's on my way home. When I stopped at the STOP sign wanting to turn left in front of the pharmacy, there was an SUV stopped before the STOP sign with the hazards on. I thought he parked there for whatever reason and turned left in front of him but he decided to drive at the same time. So I clipped him. I turned into the parking lot, parked and got out of the car. He parked right behind of me blocking me. I walked towards him and said "I am so sorry! Did I hit you?" He was a young guy, he yelled "Yes, you F.ing hit me! Watch when you f.ing drive!" I said "Hey, there is no need for this kind of language. I am right here, I am apologizing and I am not trying to get away from whatever I'm responsible for".
We both walked his SUV and mine. And all it was I scuffed my wheel against his. He could not find one scratch on his car. I had his wheel marks on mine. The whole time he was mad, he kept saying "You need to f.ing pay attention where you f.ing going!". And I said "I already said I'm sorry, I thought you were parked because of the hazards". He checked his car twice and he said "No damage here" and drove away.
I was kind of shook up. I knew I was at fault but in my defense he was stopped before the STOP sign along the store and he had his hazards on.
I was glad it didn't go further. Maybe if I yelled back at him, it would have because he seemed to be an aggressive, wanting to fight.
I don't go to Kroger often, especially that one. The parking lot is too small and too close to Atascocita Rd and Will Clayton, too difficult to get in and out.

I wonder why I never have these type of issues with people? I think people with drama attract drama.
