I've never been called a Boomer but I sure could be. All generations seem to have it better than the ones before. Boomers had to work for everything so we can leave our kids security.

It is pretty funny when Boomers complain about millennials. No work ethic? Always want a reward just for participating? Well if that's all true who the heck taught them that?

@nikkiole : I would think very few Boomers are the parents of Millennials as that generation was born in the mid-40s.

@eighteen : So, what you're saying is that the Millennials and Gen Z'ers can't even come up with an accurate and valid insult for their parents? Emoticon Emoticon It's the middle-school-speak equivalent for *******. I can't believe the woman above used it in that setting...

Then me being a smart *** I told him X gonna give it to you and made him show me his max bench press ( he has zero interest in lifting and barely squeezed out 110 ) and then proceed to show him I can max double that. 🤗

My parents were born in the 40s and according to some generation charts I'm a millennial since I was born in 81. Although I don't identify with that generation, I eat lots of cereal. 😂

@TexanFan1 : Well when I hear Boomers, I automatically think Baby Boomers because that's what was taught in school. There was an increase of children, a baby boom, due to WWII ending. Apparently they've changed the demographics to include Generation Jones which I've never really considered to be Boomers. However, according to this site there's a third Boomer genration. So, mid-40s to mid-90s? That's crazy.

It gives an excellent breakdown of the different generations though.

@eighteen : I was born in 1962 and have two millennials in their early thirties. My 32 year old told me that the other day. I thought it was funny. And then I said wait, is that supposed to be an insult? Emoticon

@MrsT : I'm in a "lost generation" as well, '78-'83. Some research I'm Gen X and others I'm Gen Y. I feel like the late boomers fall into that category.
