It's going to be a catch phrase kids use for anyone older than them. My 16 YO daughter says that to me (jokingly) regularly, even though I'll be 50 in January. I'm Gen-X....lolI think when used seriously, it's just lazy, and people think they are clever for using it, which just isn't the case.

and some of us don't get it.

My millennial step-daughter said it to her father the other day... We are actually Boomers. He was not amused to say the least. So then, he got up on his podium and she had to listen.
