I wonder what kind of dirty juices they use on their burgers, and from which body part Emoticon 😳

(Sorry, keep seeing the thread title and couldn't help myself.)

I had their burgers, I ordered two take outs, they charged me for the paper bag. Hamburgers are good, but I can't see paying $0.25 for a paper bag. Never went back.

I swear I want to open up a restaurant where if you request no lettuce, tomatoes, etc. Etc., they'd actually take it off of the price!

Taco Bell - no Baja sauce, add cheese sauce. Sure for $0.75 more. BS!

@Pattywiglet : Also, as a sign of the times, I am seeing more and more Mom&Pop's charging for ToGo orders.

Lace : YES! DjB trained them as employees once upon a time. Look at both menus. The guys at Hippo are super rude.

@brightlights : the rude guys at hippo must have got their rude training from the woman owner at dirty juicy. I would not go back to DJB because of her.

@CelticStorm : Chick fil a does that. When I get no pickles on the sandwich it takes off like 15 cents or something.

@brightlights : Not a fan of Hippo Burger, not a fan of any burger that tastes like Ground Chuck meat. Too greasy, is DJB made of same type meat?

Y'all know that's Christina's (from Italiano's) place, Dirty Juicy Burger. It's not bad, been a while since I visited it but around same as Hippo's, which I agree with above statements, it's OK, decent at best, but WAY too much meat, the chucky meat taste overwhelms it too much to make it a good burger.

We've been to Hippo burger 1 time & never went back . We waited a very long time finally came to the table with food . I picked mine up & it just fell completely apart .the meat that was inside fell to the plate in 3 separate pieces of meat . It looked like & completely felt like an entire bottle of Wesson oil was poured over my burger . It's like they put it in a bowl & poured the oil all over it . It was very soggy I asked the woman for paper towels & she saw the big mess & copped an attitude & was rude when I never asked for my money back or to bring me another burger .END OF STORY FOREVER !! Worst thing I've been served in my complete life .

******************Husbands burger he liked ! His didn't get grease soaked .

@brightlights :

Really? I've never found the Hippo Burger employees to be anything than really nice. Which location? The original on Wilson, or the new one by Eagle Springs?

@Littlegoo Speaking of Hippo, the last time we were at the Atascocita location, one of the guys said that the Wilson location was moving to a bigger space a few doors down.. That will be great!
