Ya'll are right. We already get to go to football games and watch idiots disrespect our country by not respecting the Anthem-now we get to go to plays and listen to the cast whine about losing the election and disrespect the paying attendee's. What's next? We paid to watch a play-not to hear the casts members political views. It's a bunch of nonsense-go protest-keep it out of our entertainment as it's not what we paid for.
If we want to go listen to a bunch of political BS-advertise it as such.
I'm really surprised, even though I know how much ya'll hate how the election turned out that ya'll think this is OK.

Go for it, and keep supporting it if it's what helps ya'll get through your loss. Just surprising to me ya'll want all this Political stuff every you go-but do what you have to do and support what you think is right-it's a free country (those plays and football games aren't-but it is what it is).

@cador to me - this is a non-issue; I can assure you that for the average ticket purchaser to that particular showing of that play - the mere presence of the VP elect along with his entourage of secret service caused a much more severe distraction than a few post play remarks.his presence invites the political discussion- I am sure he is quite use to it.Trump will have to grow some thicker skin

Trump couldn't help himself, he tweeted back to cast of Hamilton. Perhaps the "in" thing to do the next four years is to say something to get a tweet response from Trump.

@redneck roy I have been in the Hobby Center when Bush was there many times never has the audience been disturbed by the extras he doesn't even sit in the boxes (specially made for the president)but sits in the middle! yes the secret service(SS) is there but all enjoy! At a concert with Michael W Smith (MWS) at a church they brought Bush in the side and very few knew he was coming and then MWS said that this song was for his friend.....boy then everyone tried to come say hi! The SS was freaking out!!!! I did shake Bush's hand...only because he came to me (I was told to stay at a certain spot and help!) It was awesome and a blessing!

Do you expect a difference in security needs between former president and current or elect pres?I almost walked inot gwb at boat show years ago. Not long after he was out of office. Not much effort at separation frim his security detail.Not suggesting this was a major distraction, or even a noticeable distraction, just less than the comments.Not a big deal, we probably would hAve never even heard about it if Trump could help himself.
