I know these letters can be ridiculous at times, but I'd try not to take them personally...These people drive around looking for reasons to justify their jobs....That means pointing things out and writing letters to show the HOA that they are doing something in return for their pay...They seldom "bite"...I've seen troubled lawns uncut for over 6 months with no action, among other things...
There may not be any big issues in your area, so they have to find something to show the HOA that they are actually working...
@EddyFree :
Our management co I know in 2011 was getting right at $ 2,000.00 per month for deed restriction management . I can take you through our subdivision & show violation after violation & many have been in violation for MANY yrs ! We have so many violations that you can't tell people no you can't do that it's against our restrictions . The person they say no to can document that it's already done & take them to court . So why are we paying that kind of money ? What are we getting for it ? I see no benefit for us paying a management Co .
