@Cabin_Mama might do it differently, but I just slice a watermelon (seedless) into big slices, then slice into bite-sized squares. Then slice whole Feta cheese into the same size squares and put on top of the watermelon square...then add a whole fresh basil leaf on top, sprinkle sea salt (I use the salt grinder thing so it's coarse), then cracked black pepper, then skewer each one with a wooden pick, then drizzle extra virgin olive oil over the top and sprinkle with a good balsamic vinegar. I usually serve them on a big platter lined with red leaf lettuce. Beautiful!
Alternately, you can use a fresh mint leaf in place of the basil. A lot of people do that, but I don't dig mint.
