I too like Coldplay, but they are not SuperBowl worthy. Also, who really thought that a British band would be a good choice for something as American as the Superbowl, especially SuperBowl 50? Since Metallica declined, did they just run out of ideas?
@Littlegoo I was not happy with the Coldplay selection but I wound up liking it a lot. They played all their happy and upbeat stuff, I liked the flowers and colors everywhere. It was a fun performance. And Bruno danced his honey off, I liked the new moves they had to that rather tired and overplayed song.
...well, I liked it too. I thought they were all cute and enjoyed it all. They could have been singing the phone book and I wouldn't have known or cared...and I love just about anyone that can get up and do the hokey pokey. JMO....
Now that Manning is going to retire. I do see Brady coming to Houston and winning the Superbowl. He did win it when he playing in the last Houston Superbowl, so that is good karma.
Notice how they were missing from the tribute sequence?
@HumbleGirl : I noticed... I was watching to see how they were going to handle that mess... Guess they just decided to ignore it and figure no one would notice!!
