"Ok so I felt very much annoyed by him at first, like he was just encouraging her behavior. But when he had the breakdown on stage and talked about how abuse basically opens you up to other abusers. I felt that on a level I can't even explain. I think it's really hard for someone who's never experienced it to understand what it's like. It's always "why don't you just…." and that's why people feel so ashamed, it's why they go back. Then they feel more stupid, and embarrassed because they're "allowing it to..."
