"Finally had my surgery on Tuesday. All teeth removed and I'm very sore and swollen and full of stitches. I have mostly been asleep since I got home Tuesday afternoon since the pain pills knock me all the way out. Eating lots of jello and had some Fried Rice tonight since it was something I didn't have to chew. Hoping to get my dentures back in by Saturday, but that all depends how bad the swelling still is.

"Porky's is a really cool spot. I don't mind paying $5 for a beer if I'm having a couple. Food trucks on the other hand? Very rarely will I pay those crazy prices - and that's not Porky's-specific. I'm sure there's a reason they cost more, but I do not care.

"We ate there a couple of weeks ago. I ordered the popcorn shrimp like I almost always do. The waiter bought my order out and said I was the first person to try their new popcorn shrimp. After he sit it down he then went hmmmmm as he looked at it. It was regular size shrimp that had tails. Popcorn shrimp doesn't have tails! . And it definitely was not popcorn. I kept it because I didn't want to wait… he said he would check with the kitchen but never heard anything back from him on it…

"First attempt at Porkys. Not much to report. Sticker shock kept me from staying on a random Thursday night. It wound be totally worth it with a group or date night or watch a football game. I just wasn't in the mood to pay 18 bucks for 3 tenders and fries or a burger. Pretty full tonight tho

"brightlights : We've never thought of it as an insult, even though it is directly about being close together. My Dad and Aunt were 1 yr and a day apart, so we always heard the term. I guess some thought it was insulting, just like saying Bless your heart I guess.
