My thought is I'm not surprised. The GOP is desperate and will stoop to anything to try to win votes. The Ohio governor's race comes to mind.

You're absolutely correct. Now, in regards to the Ohio governor's race. The ad used by Ramaswamy featuring his opponents mother to basically call her daughter, Amy Acton, crazy and a liar is a new low. Especially given that Acton and her brother were removed from her childhood home as a result of her mother's husband being indicted for raping Acton.Further, Acton has not reportedly even spoken to her mother in over 50 years! But, we as a society have told our politicians that trafficking in pig crap is acceptable. Hell, you can even become president!

What the Ramaswamy campaign is doing is absolutely despicable. In all my 80 years, I never thought that our presidential and Congressional campaigns would come to this.

The mailers, sent by an organization formed last month in Wyoming, implicate a Texas transgender rights group that says it was not involved.
Saying it's Ken Paxton is pure speculation at this point.

Read up on Amy Acton's story if you don't know about it. She was raped by her father and the mother (in the commercial) stayed with him and neglected Amy and her brother.

The advertisement features Acton's birth mother, Donna Arthur, calling her "a liar" and insinuating she has mental health issues. Acton, Ohio's former public health director, has made no secret of facing homelessness and abuse as a child. Arthur lost custody of her children after their stepfather was indicted for raping Acton.

Andi7 : the news I saw suggested a pac that supported paxton, that is t to suggest paxton was behind it or was aware of it, but I don't know that it is more likely than not that it was someone that supports him, To try it out of fit, to suggest it would be a group that doesnt support him is tough to buy.

I got it with a couple of other political ads. Saw the trans thing at the corner and threw every political ad in the trash without giving them a closer look. So they all were wasted money as far as I was concerned.

WFA.com has a reporter tracing the while thing. She's currently in Sheridan, WY. Apparently, they have more than this shady **** happening and have been investigated before. Paxton has been called to conduct an investigation. Let's see what happens. 🤔
