House Republican committees actually requested the GAO investigation into ACA enrollment fraud, held hearings, and in 2026 subpoenaed insurers as part of an investigation.

Tom Barrett (R-MI) introduced the Stop ACA Enrollment Fraud Act of 2026, which would establish direct consent requirements for broker-assisted ACA enrollment. If she were a republican do you think she would ever get elected in her state? It is the same with the DSA. Dems would rather have one of them in office than a republican.
