IF there are No Illegals Voting Then Why Sue
Seems a lot of blue states have so much tax money they can sue anyone who tries to stop illegal voting even though they tell us there is no illegal voting going on in their state. So why spend all that money trying to stop something that isn't even happening?
As I read the article that is what I kept coming back to. Hmmm The lawsuits are never ending also. When they can't stop it with one lawsuit they come up with another one to try to stop it. Where does all this money come from to do that? Are there no more people living in tents in LA or starving kids in our country? Has inflation gone to 0%? Does everyone now have a smart phone?

@Atascocita888 : Because it's yet another underhanded attempt for them to get their hands on voter data.

Many states, Red too, it's illegal for voter information to be shared federally.

Texas already tried to trap "Tens of thousands" of illegal voters. We all know how that turned out.

@ParksideRes :
Don't know what you are trying to say. So are you saying a STATE cannot give the federal government voter information? Why? I think they can but the thing is blue states won't. We all know why and it isn't because they are protecting some sacred info. Blue states cannot afford to only have actual legal voting citizens voting. That is why there are cities that already or who are trying to get it where non-citizens can vote in local elections. Get it local then get it state wide then try to get it Federally.
You state Texas couldn't find illegal votes but, sigh, then there is this…. 6,600 noncitizens were mistakenly added to the state's voter rolls between June 2023 and June 2024 in New Jersey.

#msg2199973So are you saying a STATE cannot give the federal government voter information?

@Atascocita888 : duh, That's what it says both places.

@Atascocita888 : Because they passed state laws at some point in the past, that makes it illegal to share voter information with the federal government.

Why you say? Because the federal government has no jurisdiction in elections whatsoever. It is fully up to the states.
