@ParksideRes : No. Unless there is a story I am missing. It was a plea deal. He never went to trial. In the case I am talking about an illegal who was tried and convicted and then the Dem Governor Waltz pardoned him. Has a republican done that? If so I would like to know who to trample on next.

It's a full board decision (FWIW). He's been deported already.

Nobody should be pardoning people for sex crimes. Hell I think pardons as a whole are kind of ridiculous. Unless it's something you didn't actually do I don't get the point.
