probably want to live your life in a way that folks aren't celebrating your demise quite so much.I expect we all could agree with things he said - since he certainly claimed both sides of many conversations - depending on the political winds.I expect he probably was a pretty good guy away from the cameras - seemed to get along well with everyone - but never avoided a camera.

@Catmae : People can be very nasty. If the online comments trigger you on Senator Graham, you might want to prepare yourself for when Trump dies. He's publicly said nasty things about several dead folks. It might be really bad.

MrsT doesn't like to talk about people in that way. No matter how I feel about that person, someone cared about them. Plus it's just not a good look. But I do realize there's a whole lot of hypocrisy around this situation. I saw this and thought it was very fitting. I also don't talk about people's looks or dumb **** like how they laugh. That's childish.

I also don't go around trivializing death. I see a whole lot of people who are completely desensitized to death, as long as it's certain people. "Well they shouldn't have (insert awful reason to be ok with someone dying.)"

Seems to me, when a political figure dies, one can't talk about their death in a vacuum. So, given that, there was a time when I had respect for Graham. Certainly, didn't agree with him politically on much. But I considered him a principled man.But then in what would be the twilight of his career, he turned into a person many people no longer recognized. Principles were exchanged for political survival. This is the way history will judge Lindsey Graham the politician.As to Graham the man. May his family be comforted at this difficult time.
