It seems only fitting that he may be left to wither on the vine until August 4, as if they unplug him before that date it will trigger a special election.Time will tell. If this is the case it will be a truly appalling demonstration of a pure lack of humanity in the name of political purpose. But given the games and hypocrisy he leveraged over the supreme court appointments, it may be fitting that his sole withers in purgatory between life and death. (Nah- that is overly cruel even for him)
