Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo Warns The Budget Deficit...

Our home values continue to increase which means much more revenue coming in. Lina needs to take an accounting class and figure it out.

I have been waiting for since they approved the budget last year. And with not getting the flood district not completing their projects.

They need to figure it out. Increasing taxes isn't the answer- they continue to get more money from us. They need to manage the money they have coming in

@susanbanthony : I hate it when it sounds like she's threatening the people. Saying you wait until you see how high we're going to go is basically what she saying. They need to get control of that budget and start doing some reductions. She also said that they would be cutting some services while raising everything to its highest level. Well, how is that fair? Why would we pay more for getting less. She's way over her head in this position and needs to get out immediately. Her giving extra income to families and bringing in kids to get things passed that she wants. Those are the things that need to be cut out. She waste so much of our money.

@Pinehurst : Increase according to their appraisers…… Last year they tried to up ours 17% but the 10% cap kept it at 10%. So what do they do, they gut us with the 7% difference this year and stay under the cap.
