I would be interested in shooting someone who was responsible for the death of my child? If it would bring my child back to life, I would. When our cousin was hit on his bike by a drunk driver, his parents did not seek revenge; they did not even sue. I doubt they immediately forgave the driver. He was prosecuted and spent some time in prison. That is the process I believe in. I have seen the long term effect on children in the family when parents sought revenge. It is not pretty. Believe as you will but stop judging me.Believing in gun control is not what would stop me from shooting someone in the situation we are discussing. It is the uselessness of additional bloodshed. That would not bring peace or satisfaction into my life.

I don't think people should be killing people because they think someone is drunk. If so, watch out Houston. However, I couldn't find mr. Barajas guilty based on evidence. Yes I think the police overlooked this one.

I don't think he allegedly killed him because he was drunk. I'm sure he did it because the dude just killed his kids.But, I'm just spitballin' here...

@This Guy: I don't think the police "overlooked" evidence. However, I do wonder if the witnesses made themselves scarce because of strong feelings they may have had about not wanting to see the father convicted.
